"The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all maters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." - Steve Jobs
I am currently a student at the University of Georgia, studying Marketing and International Business as well as persuing a certificate in New Media. I am also very involved on campus and in my community. I work with student programming at my school, with a state-wide non-profit focusing on the safety of children across Georgia, and I have even worked as a volunteer teacher at a school in South Korea. The opportunities I have had to work with large, diverse populations have given me a broader and greater view of the world.
I have a passion for learning, exploring, and helping others. I want to ensure that no matter what I end up doing in life, I never stop striving to do those three things.
While I am a student in the sense that i'm attending a univeristy, I also like to think that i'm a student of the world. You should never stop learning in life from other people and your own experiences.
Ever since I was young, I have loved traveling. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life, I would be exploring the world and learning about the people who inhabit it.
I believe that the only definition for a creative is someone who strives for creativity. In all of the work that I do, I strive to take creative and innovative approches.
I am the upcoming Vice President of External Affaris for University Union, the University of Gerogia's Student Programming Board. I am going into my third year as part of the organiztion, and this past year I have served as Coordinator for Film Experince.
I work as a Marketing Contractor for Safe Kids Georgia, a state-wide non-profit proudly led by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Safe Kids Georgia is dedicated to leading a statewide grassroots network of Health Educators that provide injury prevention education, enforcement and safety equipment for Georgia’s children birth to 19 years of age.
